What are the forces involved in slides.

A slide is an object made from... Slides are usually constructed of plastic or metal and they have a smooth surface that is either straight or wavy.

push means when you push something than it will move ar you can push yourself down something and up something like if you push something away from you then you will move with it.

pull means when you pull something towards you and it will move with you like if you pull and table it will move your way.

potential energy means the energy possessed by a body by virtue of its position relative to others, stresses within itself, electric charge, and other factors

kinetic energy means energy which a body possesses by virtue of being in motion.

friction means the resistance that one surface or object encounters when moving over another.

motion means the action or process of moving or being moved.

Gravity. means if you are in space there is no gravity and that means you can not stand up but you can float in space but in earth there is gravity so that you can stand.

The forces involved with slides Push, Pull, Potential energy, kinetic energy, Friction, Motion, Gravity theses are all the forces used in slides.

Forces project

Aim:
I want to know how many cups we can knock down.

How to make a vortex cannon

Equipment:
Craft knife
Duct tape
paper cups
elastic cord
fog machine
shower curtain
garbage can

Method:
step 1 Get the equipment.
step 2 Cut a hole in the garbage can.

step 3 use the plastic bag.
step  4 Build a tower of cups.

My questions for my work.

1. Yes I did achieved my aim because we worked together.
2. The fog machine did not work so my group built a cup tower and used air instead.
3. the fog machine stopped working. and we did all of our work as a group.
4. we could try and get the fog machine to work.

How I felt about my work: I really like how I did my work I worked very hard on it and i liked it.

How was the Earth made

YouTube How the Earth was made

    • 4.5 billion years ago the sun was around a ring of gas
    • The sun cooled and minerals formed
    • The minerals stick together to make rocks
    • The rocks keep on getting bigger and bigger
    • The Earth then melted
    • The heavier material sank to the core
    • The lighter material floated to the surface
    • The Earth started to crusted
    • All the rock blown into space made the moon
    • Every rock that came on Earth brought a little bit of water
    • In some rocks they carried amino acids
    • Meteorites contained amino acids
    • Trees make oxygen
