1. palm oil is tree that can be harvested all year round
2. Palm oil in many countries is used as a simple frying oil, but many other markets make use of both palm and palm kernel oil.
3. to get palm oil you have to get fruit that is hard to get.
4. palm oil is bad because lots of people want it and is is killing the animals in the forests and they are burning the forest down. this is a pic of what the people are doing to the animals in the forest.

Organ Functions #2

Intestines: its job is to absorb most of the nutrients from what we eat and drink.The large intestine (colon or large bowel) is about 5 feet long and about 3 inches in diameter. The colon absorbs water from wastes, creating stool.
Bladder: The urinary bladder is a muscular sac in the pelvis, just above and behind the pubic bone. When empty, the bladder is about the size and shape of a pear.
Pancreas: Enzymes, or digestive juices, are secreted by the pancreas into the small intestine. There, it continues breaking down food that has left the stomach.

1. the Heart: The blood provides your body with the oxygen and nutrients it needs. The right side of your heart receives blood from the body and pumps it in to the lungs.
2. the brain: Your brain contains billions of nerve cells. the brain is the organ that helps you function and lean.
3. the lungs: The lung is what makes you breath and do other things like athletics.
4. the kidney: The kidneys are two bean-shaped organs, each about the size of a fist.

3. Bowfin are found in Mississippi river

5. Galjoen are found in south Africa

Being a vet for a day

Lo: By the end of the lesson I will know what the anatomy of a fish is and the processes required to be followed for the dissection.
Aim: I want to find out/know were the anatomy of the fish is located and to be able to correctly dissect a fish.
What jobs do vets actually do.
A vet is a medical professional who protects the health and well-being of both animals and people. they can control animal diseases and treat sick and injured animals.
How does a vets job actually involve science.

Ice Cream
Date: Wednesday 31/5/2017
Lo: create a detailed plan for making ice cream.
Aim: how to make ice cream with out a freezer
Equipment:
1 large plastic bag
crushed ice
2 zip lock bags
sugar
1/4 milk
1/4 cream
vanilla extract
gloves
rock salt
Method:
1. fill the large plastic bag half full with crushed ice and add 6 teaspoons of rock salt.
2. mix it all together with your gloves on.
4. seal the bag the but it in another bag.
5. mix your stuff for 20 minutes
6. remove the bag from the other bag enjoy.
